Main St. v. Wall St.

One of the regular topics around the table and something that hits close to home for all of us here in Northeastern Pennsylvania: the battle between Main Street and Wall Street. You know, the heart of our communities against the big money on Wall Street.

For generations, Scranton has been so different that the folks making the money on Wall Street off other people’s labors.

We're the folks who get up early, put in an honest day's work, and come home to our families. We're the ones who keep our local businesses running, our schools thriving, and our communities strong.

But over the years, we've seen a divide grow. While Wall Street thrives, Main Street often struggles.

Big corporations get bailouts, while small businesses fight to stay afloat. It's a story as old as the hills we live in, but it doesn't have to be this way.

You know what makes Scranton and all the towns like us special? It's our values—hard work, honesty, and common sense. We believe in looking out for one another, in supporting our local businesses, and in making sure our kids have a brighter future.

That's why we all need to stand up and make our voices heard. We need leaders who understand that Main Street is the backbone of America, not just a talking point.

Leaders who will fight for policies that support working families, not just the financial elite. Candidates like Harris and Waltz, who understand that the strength of our community lies in its people, not in distant boardrooms.

The fight continues. We march on. It was never going to be a four-year fight. This is the long game. This is about going beyond and “spreading the faith.” We have new champions in 2024. We are making more progress, and we are not going back.

Vote Harris / Waltz
